export data

Solved!

Hi I was wondering if someone can help me write data to an Excel or text file. I am receiving continuous data from a DAQ through a loop and would like to export this data to a file. I tried to write to Excel but an error keeps coming up about my number of samples. However, this error does not come up without that block. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

VL

Do you need to be export data continuously or export after the continuous collected data is collected? Here's my example of export after data is collected. Maybe it will help and give you ideas!

Thanks that was really helpful. However, I have a while loop that stops when I abort the execution, so it never reaches the blocks outside of the loop. Is there a way I can fix that?

Never mind I figured it out. My Excel file has all zeros though and it should have values. Do you have any idea why that could be?

Basically I am getting input from a DAQ, and I need to export that data. The exported file should have the data after a filter and after an equation have been performed on it. Does that make any sense?

Thanks again,

VL
