executing event structure within while loop within sequence

The event structure cannot complete, unless all code it the current event case completes. Could it be that the "laser" subVI never completes?

Why do you need all these sequence frames???? 😮

The sequences are the only way that I know to organize my complicated data acquisition... it'd probably look a lot better if I made more use of sub vi's, but I have only just started putting these in.

It's probably the other way around:

"The sequences are the the cause that my data acquisition code is so complicated." 😮

(If your subVIs had any error terminal, execution order can be determined strictly by dataflow.)
