execute a loop for used specified time

This is my problem.I have a VI that captures videos through a CCD camera and saves it as a .avi file.Currently I have a STOP button so that I can manually stop the capture whenever I need.I want to add a feature such that the VI captures the video for the number of seconds specified by
me.I have a "while" loop currently.I tried changing that to a "for" loop and interfacing the "Time Elapsed" VI with the "loop count" parameter of the "for" loop but I'm not getting the correct output.Could you please help me out?
