I've posted something similar to this before and even called National Apps.
DISPLAY/MONITOR SETTINGS!!!!
I created a vi w the Development SW then an exe ( using Project) and ported it to the target machine...no sytax errors, runs like a charm. After a number of iterations w National it was determined that my display resolution was different from one machine to another. So I chg'd them to match...developmnt= target resolution. I'm still running into issues. Under "VI Properties>window appearance " I left it as default. "VI Properties>window size " I left it as min panel width 0 and 0. Maintain portions... and Scale all... I left unchecked. Under " VI Properties>window run time position " I left as Position unchanged.. When I run the exe on the target machine some of the front panel controls are skewed slightly to the right. I can see almost 1/3 of the screen to the left is the front panel that was blank in the source file even though when I saved it and created the exe, it was centered on my develop machine. I have buttons that select subvis and when those are called some of them are as if I had hit the "Restore down" button in the upper right of the window. They're not max. These were all at the recommendation of the App Engr.
Is there a process to get the target vi ( and all subvis) to run centered in the display and "maximized" when the user calls it on the target machine w/o having him or her chg the setting each time???
