mechanical action of the button for the event is very important"
1: only latch action will queue the event, else will have error
2: the events can be mouse up, value change or other (depend on the event)
3: Try to place the event button inside it's event structure frame
"Above is my conclusion

Hi,

In my last post I did mention what all changes I had made to your VIs. As far as I can remember those are the only changes I made but I may be wrong. You can get your original VIs from your original post and compare those to the modified ones I sent you.

As for getting rid of the extra clicks problem, goto the subvis (callWF and RecordWindow). For each of the subvis, goto file>> VI properties>>windows appearance>>(choose the 'Custom' radio button)>>(click on Customize)>>(under Window Behavior, select 'Modal'). Making the subVi modal keeps the front panel of the subvi on top of all other LabVIEW windows until you close the window or open another modal window. You cannot interact with other win
dows while a modal window is open.

Hi AxE,

It is always a pleasure to help our customers be successful in their applications. To get LabVIEW help, goto LabVIEW main screen>>help>>VI, Function and How-to help>> Index. In the search box on the top of the page, you can type the name of the property or the function you want more information about. Alternatively, you can highlight a function on the block diagram and press Ctrl+H to get Context Help for that function. You can click on "click here for more help" to get more information on the function.

Please let me know if you have more questions regarding this issue.

Regards,
Ankita A.
