Did you mean:

error code 11

I have this old serial library that I still need to maintain LV sw developped a few years ago - it's not an llb, just a collection of VI's.
After upgrading to LV6.1, I did a mass compile with no errors (so VI actually have a giagram, right?), but when I try to open the old LV program I still get error 11 when LV tries to load these vi's. Whats wrong?

You should open a few of those vi's to check to see if you have block diagrams. Mass compiling does not always return an error if the block diagram has been removed. For more information about this particular issue take a look at What Does it Mean When I Receive the Message "LabVIEW load error code 11"?

Thanks Ray, for your answer.
I have opened the vi's and, yes they have a diagram that I can fiddle with (change & save). That's why it puzzles me besides preventing me from maintaining my software.

This is a free lib I got from Philips Research a few years ago with a bit better support to serial communications than LabView 5.x had back then.

I know I could use the new visa vi's, but that's a bit further beyond "maintaining" this old software.

Thanks anyway.
