error 97 with twain device {need to connect twain scanner to labview }

i'd like to ask questiion about twain driver for labview

i have canon scanner lide220 with twain driver and need to connect and control it with labview using twain driver 

after installing labview twain library and use an example for twain scanner error 97 occur ,my question is how twain driver connected to the required target and how to fix the following problem

This appears to be a subVI. Is the Twain reference coming in good? Where exactly does this error arise?

my problem araise in twain library usage ....in another word i can not connect to my reference at all  so my main problem is how to set reference and how to deal with error 97

Where is the Twain reference coming from that is feeding this VI? At some point you need to open it.
