error -200279

Hi

m using m series card 6220 for data aquisition  m reading analog input and counter simultaneously with 1000 samples per sec

i tried them reading seperatly still getting

error -200279 for AI Read

Attempted to read samples that are no longer available. The requested sample was previously available, but has since been overwritten.

Increasing the buffer size, reading the data more frequently, or specifying a fixed number of samples to read instead of reading all available samples might correct the problem.

please suggest the remedies

Hi Troubleshooting,

There are several things that could be causing this error, but basically it is a buffer overflow error.  There is a good KnowledgeBase that describes a step you can take to monitor the samples in the buffer.  Also, there are several good discussion forums that also discuss this same error that might give you some insight on what might be causing this error.
