Did you mean:

enum with multiple choice

Solved!

Hi,

I want to select from a enum of 6 items 3 items.

This moment I can only choose 1 item. What is wrong?

The guideline says it is possible, but how?

Which guideline? An enum is a datatype. Fundamentally it's an integer value, not an array. Therefore it can only have one value. Are you thinking of a ListBox?

It is a german guideline. Labview fundamentals 8.0.

There is written :

Enum controls can produce Pulldown menues for multiple choice.

But I think listbox possibility is the one I will use.

Thanks

Ah, it's an issue of semantics. When they say "multiple choice" they don't mean that you can select more than one. They mean you can select "one" from "many choices". Kind of like multiple choice test where you have to select one of the answers.

Hi,

it is a good explanation.

I tried to give you a KUDO but I failed.

I think you answered my last question a week ago, there I gave you a solution point and a Kudo but now I failed.

I use the Opera browser now perhaps this is a problem?

 Greetings

Don't worry about the Kudos. As long as you've got your question answered, that's what counts.

Don't know if it's a problem with Opera.  I'll mention it on the Kudos thread.
