what timeout have you connected? If you want to wait til a connection, then you have to use "-1".

thank you so much for your post on our webforum. Can you please explain more regarding the issue you see; are you trying an example and facing this problem (which example)? If not please try with an example, and if it is related to your own VI, please make a small sample which we can review. Is this problem between two PC's? When do you see this problem?

One important thing to keep in mind is your safety software like firewall; a firewall can block the port you try to communicate with.
