I'm just starting in LabVIEW but inherited a large program to work on.
The question is - how can I easily move a control, or terminal large distances on a block diagram or panel? Dragging it to the top of the viewing area and letting LabVIEW auto-scroll is very slow. Dragging to top of view area, then manually scrolling, or Page/up then grabbing and dragging again is tedious - especially on large diagrams where I need to go up several pages.
I see this most often when I create a control on the front panel, then it places a terminal on the block diagram seemingly at random. Likewise, if I create the control terminal on the block diagram, it places the control on the front panel seemingly at random.
Ok - may
be not at random - but somewhere near the last place I selected something in that view...
