does anyone is runing GeoVision card on LabView platform?

Hello
I'm trying to make GV-600 v3 card to run as ActiveX on LabView 8.2.
I get an error "can not connect to server". The card is a PCI card sitting in the PCI board of the computer.
There is not internet connection to this computer.

Hope someone can help

Hey IMD,

I have read your post and done a little research online about your card.  When you say you want it to run as ActiveX do you mean you want to pull images from it through ActiveX?  This card is not supported by our IMAQ drivers.  Normally our own cards are used to interface with our IMAQ VI's.

Could you possibly post a screenshot of your VI's block diagram or provide some more details about the error code and what you are trying to do with your program.  It will help me determine the steps neccesary to help you more efficiently.

Thanks,

Hey IMD,

I looked around and have been unable to find any information about your card and LabVIEW.  I was wondering if there is some other program that communicates between your card and LabVIEW.  If you can capture images in this program, make sure that the program is closed before you try to run the LabVIEW program.

With our software, sometimes you can get an error when you are accessing a camera in Measurement and Automation Explorer and LabVIEW at the same time.  This might be the case.  Let me know how you are interfacing this board to LabVIEW and I will see what I can find for you.

Thanks,
