difficulty wiring schmitt trigger

Hi,

I am a complete novice with Labview.

Trying to put my aquired sin waveform through a schmitt trigger before my waveform graph and frequency display.

I am trying to follow instructions i found but the wiring is hard to fathom.

Can anyone advise

I am Ed from National Instruments Applications Engineering. I have been forwarded your forum post which I am happy to assist you with.

However I would first like to clarify what the issue is, is this that you are experiencing issues with regards to the programming of your LabVIEW code or is this that you are having trouble wiring the Schmitt Trigger to the 6040E?

I have not found in our resources any reference to using this particular card with a Schmitt Trigger to which I am unsure as to why this may be, however we do provide Digital modules which do specifically reference in their data sheet that Schmitt Triggers are supported.

For this reason I suspect that this may not be a feature the 6040E is capable of, however that being said, please could you provide me with the model number of the Schmitt Trigger so I may confirm whether this is indeed the case.
