deploying labview 8.6.1 using norton ghost

Hi,

I am having problems deploying lab view 8.6.1 thru norton ghost. I am currently not using a volume license manager and opted for the method using a special computer ID that enables you to have a universal activation code.  I used the activation key in the master machine(model computer). However, when I try to open lab view signal express, it searches for a network license specified in LM_License_file environment variable. Other programs such as matlab uses this. How do I set labView to not look for a network license and instead use a local license?

Are you trying to follow Method 2 from this article? Also, are your getting the licensing issue from Signal Express or from LabVIEW?

Im using method 2 which requires the vol serial number of the master machine. Im having that network license popup each time i open signal express for both the master and the client machines.
