delete external files from lv with system exec.vi, is it possible??

i would like to know the command line to deletes files from my application, since i save one file, use this file to convert to another and later i want remove both...

i try delete "c:\...\file.*" but i didnt get it...

Any help?.

Why do you want to use the system exec.vi if there is a vi for deleting files?
