datasocket doesnt read cluster Help?

Hi
I write a cluster (user info.) to a datasocket that another vi uses to read to authenticate the user.
When both of the vis are run on a computer everything goes fine but when they are run on 2 computers on a LAN the reader doesn't show anything.Opening the datasocket reader it shows that some packets have been rcved.mean while I've set the permittions to everyhost.

Why doesn't he datasocket reader show anything?

Hello smal,

Can you read any data from the client computer? Do you have the URLs set up properly? Try starting with a new VI with a simple boolean or numeric between the computers. Then move on to reading a simple cluster. There is nothing special about clusters that would make them not work. I just ran some tests and was able to connect to my machine from several others and read data from a cluster. The clusters do have to have the same data types. Feel free to post your code, and I will take a look at it.
