There's an example at http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=250&message.id=21589&query.id=0#M21589 for DAQmx and the several shipping examples for traditional DAQ can be modified for DAQmx.

What do you need the digital I/O for with a scope? Also, if you really need all of the features that a stand-alone scope provides, you would be much, much better off buying an actual scope board from NI. A regular DAQ board will not give you AC/DC coupling, simultaneous sampling, input impedance switching, etc.

Hi,

thanks for th answer. This scope fulfills everything I need, I just want to control the errorsignal from a PI-loop. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with a PXI realtime system, because a realtime system because  realtime system cant execute any frontpanel events... Is therefor any solution?

Thanks
Tim

Well, that's a completely different question. Your host computer will have to do the display. I don't have LabVIEW RT so I have no idea of the details on how that is done.
