customize rotary control

I need customize a rotary control, I must replace the needle with an image but this image doesn't rotate at the same mode.
I send my attachment with my image and control, if you have some time and you like try.....

I'm not sure you can do it that way. You can rotate a picture indicator. You might need to resize your image and put the axis of rotation in the center. Maybe also add some alpha transparency. Here is a link to the rotate picture. I modified it a bit to resize based on the input picture.

but i have the Labview 6.0, can you convert your file?

P.S. One my friend tell me that your file find "my rotate image....." and don't exist in labview llb, can you control?

The rotate image run with jpeg.bmp. and png file, but with this options the image can't have the transparent background, for the control i have used always a gif image????
It's possible make this in other manner?

Hi delpitik,

I've tried to solve your problem and I agree with unclebump, you have to resize your image and put the axis of rotation in the center.

prova.jpg is the image that I'm using in my VI and VI.jpg represents its Front Panel and its Block Diagram. In the front panel the "rotate" control is set with transparent color and it is placed on the picture that rotates depending the angle chosen by user.

In the attached folder you can find prova.jpg, VI.jpg, "rotate picture.vi" and the rotate.llb.

yours Vi use Labview 7.0......I have 6.0 could you change version and resend me?

I can't go back to 6.0 format. I put a picture of the vi's into a pdf file. You can do transparency in a png file, but maybe not in 6.0 version. You could make the white gage control background transparent and put it on top of the picture indicator.
