Hi Baldrik,

When I host the original VI on a WindowsXP machine and remotely connect to it from a MAC machine, I get the same problem as yours. When I host the original VI on a MAC machine and try to connect to it from a WindowsXP machine, it times out and does not even allow me to connect to it. I will have to do some more digging on the problem and get back to you. In the meantime, just use the same OS on your server and your client.

                         Well we are a MAC shop.
I run XP on the server (MACPRO) as the windows version of labview has more features, and makes my life easier.
Running all windows is not an option.
Running all MACS means it is twice as difficult to find solutions to measurement tasks that arise during experiments.
(LabView has many windows only feartures).  Understandably the windows version seems to recieve more dev time.

I realy hope a solution can be found.
