it help me a lot. but the palette  that i created doesn't have terminals. Do i need to put input and output before i create this .VI file as the palette?

Are you talking about terminals to your VI's?
If I understood you correctly, you need to create the subVI's correctly.

Please refer to this KB for how to created terminals of the subVI.
