create task digital output

Hello,

I have a SCXI 1163r in which I control many valves.

I want to create the right task depending of my initial configuration (number of channels are not always the same). I know that with the DAQ assistant you can specify the task and the number of channels and then create the code. Can you give me some informations ?

My task is a digital output !

I wouldn't even both with the DAQ Assistant. Look at the shipping example called Write Dig Chan. It has a front panel control for the physical channels. You just have to click on the arrow on the right side of the control to get a dialog where you can select as many channels as you want.
