You could add a postscript printer driver to the computer and print to a postscript file (*.ps). Then you can count the number of pages in the postscript file and send it straight to the printer. http://www.postscript.org/FAQs/language/node3.html
You can also use  previewers like GSview to preview the print out. http://www.dfanning.com/tips/postscript_preview.html

Hi jeyanthi,

do you use the report generation to print your data or do you send it to excel and print it from there? How do you want to print it?

Hi jeyanthi,

attached you will find an example which shows how you can create a html report of it, and start the preview.

Hope it helps.
