control front panel two connections

How do I assign two block diagram connections to one numeric control? I need it because the terminals are connected in two different while loops and cannot be placed outside the loops (needed for updating while the VI runs). Thanks for your help.

Hi,

You have several ways to do that:
You can right click the terminal and select create local variable and you gain anothe terminal for that same control.
You can also create a reference to that control with waht you can assign values to it, change prooerties and of cource read its value and so on.
