control device of servo with D.C. current.under with 8.5

hello,
I am initial with labview and I have not had work with this type of software before I only know it for one month.
within the framework of a university project I must developed an interface and a graphic program under labview 8.5 which coresspond with a control device of servo with D.C. current.
I have a chart containing PIC16f877 which will generate signals PWM to order the servo one. this PIC communicates with the PC (if can about it say with labview) through a connection series RS232.
I wants to order the servo one since labview and after recovering these parameter ( an acquisition of measurements) via a capture and visualizing them afterwards under the interface labview.
to indicate me please that is what I, how to develop the interface labview and the graphic program must make (VI) which corresponds to my work, of or commancer?
please to help me, I do not have becq time (20 days).
you can consult the enclosure for mieu to include/understand.
afflicted for my disturbance, thank you

Hi mohautoma,

to learn how to communicate over RS232, search in the example finder for "rs-232". Smiley Happy

Hello,

Thank you to answer me

My problem it is not on the level of the RS232. My problem it is how to develop the interface and to carry out the program which corresponds to the ordering of position of servo with DC with labview.

Please to help me, to direct me, or I can find example similar to my work

(of the project with labview and the Peaks, rs232, communication series).

I wants to represent work represented under the enclosure into a program with labview.

Thank you

Hi Mohautoma,

It sounds like you might benefit from looking at some motion examples.  You can download NI-Motion from NI's website.  After this is installed, you will have some new examples in the LabVIEW example finder.  I would then search for "servo" in the example finder.  You should note, however, that NI-Motion is designed to work with NI's Motion Controller cards.  I am not sure if this is what you have or not.
