compile time for code interface nodes

How long does a CIN (for LabView 5.1) take to compile in Visual C++
6.0 ?

Thanks.

That depends almost entirely on the complexity of the code and the
speed of the computer, but for most cases the extra overhead of compiling
the CIN is much much less than the time taken to compile the code if
it were a dll.

According to Alan Turing :
You will know, when it is ready!

It is impossible to predict how long a computer operation will take,
if you have not performed it before.

Normally it will take a very short time as a CIN normally is only one
function.
but then again if you include the entire startup of Windows NT into your
CIN
it will take more time 🙂
