compatibilité LabView 7.1 avec Labview 9.0

Bonjour,

Yes it's possible to run LabVIEW 7.1 and 9.0 on the same computer. I haven't explicitly tested Vista but had no issues on XP and Windows 7.

However make sure you use different LabVIEW Data Folders.

Translation from french

Hello

I am a new community among NI and I would even say that this is the first time that I subscribe to a forum

Currently I am on probation. I proposed to pass a lengthy and complex program that runs under LabView 7.1 (Windows XP) to the new version of LabView 9.0 (Windows Vista) and improve the program. I wanted to know if I can spend LabView 7.1 LabView 9.0 with no problem. And if this is not the case, what should we do to get there??

Thank you in advance for your help,

Sincerely Gucci.

Since this is your first post and just for your information there is a french board that you can use..

You cannot directly paste via the clipboard.

However you can run both LabVIEW versions on the same computer without issues.

Be aware that a VI saved with labview 9 cannot be openend with 7.1
