communicate with melsec plc using labview...

Hi all,

          i need to communicate with mitsubishi plc (melsec Fx2N series).. i dont have idea about plc communication... if anybody knows about that please guide me to do that.... thanks in advance.

You've teo options:

1. If your PLC can communicate with modbus. LabVIEW has a modbus library that you can download and use it freely, https://forums.ni.com/t5/Reference-Design-Content/LabVIEW-Modbus-API/ta-p/3524019.

2. You can use NI OPC Server, https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/07/supported-device---driver-plug-in-list-f..., and LabVIEW DSC Module, https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/product/labview-datalogging-and-supervisory-control-module.html, to connect to FX2N. Please refer to https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000x0MPCAY&l=en-US for a step-by-step on connecting to a PLC using OPC and DSC.
