collect all subvi's in a hierarchy for a VI

i would like to collect all the subVIs in my hierarchy into one directory or .llb so that i can easily store and copy my VI for other users.  what is the easiest way to collect all my subvi's?  it seems like a simple thing that is done often, but i just can't find it on any menus.  i don't need to make an executable for distribution, just make sure i have all my subvi's in one place.

thanks,

dan

Select Menu->File->Save with options. Choose suitable mode. For example "Development distribution". Save project.

And a word of warning. If you use an llb to save VIs in development, a single corrupt VI can cause the entire llb to be unreadable. Backup often the llb or convert the llb back to a folder with individual VIs using the VI Library Manager (still do a backup of the VIs).

I'd like to second Dennis's suggestion.  You only have to loose EVERYTHING once to realize how painful it is.  I typically back up the llb to a new filename at least daily or when ever I have made a significant change (got a sticky bug worked out or a feature finally working).

Good Luck,

The VI library manager can be found in the tools menu and it has two relevant buttons: "Directory to LLB" and "LLB to Directory". In this case, you want the second one.
