closing floating window

Hi all,

I want to create a floating window with some text and a table, both with help info. It should remain opened until the user closes it, allowing to control other subVI's (the main one, for example) simultaneously. I already get this kind of behaviour making use of the Event Case Estructure, but the problem is that later, when the user presses ok, I can't manage to close the fron panel (please see example attached)

What I'm doing wrong?

Thanx!

You don't get the behaviour you want to have.
1. The help vi is just executed once, as there is no while loop around the event structure. So it executes after 100ms and that's - the vi stops.
2. You could control the main vi, because the help vi stopped as described above. If it was running, you cannot control the main vi. Either call the help vi in parallel to your main vi or call it dynamically.

I've realized my mistake: the while loop is missed! Smiley Tongue
