clear all device configuration in MAX

Hi all, How do you clear/delete all device configurations ever connected in MAX 4.7 and starting over like fresh install? thanks very much

Hi User 2009,

 

Please look at the last post on this forum. You should have to just remove/rename some of the config files.

thanks for replying, I did something similar to what was suggested in the thread you mentioned. I simply delete the MAX database assuming that when MAX restarted it would create a new database i.e by deleting the \data content and I also tried using the database reset tool for winxp. However, upon restarting, the device(s) were still present within max with its configurations and aliases, which I found rather odd. think I'm going to try to uninstall/reinstall. Once again, thanks very much
