character set file version issues

Dear LabVIEWans,

I have the Character set file which is created by 2013 version of vision assitant.i need to use this OCR file in lower version of vision toolkit.but when i try to call it ,it obvisiously  generating version mismatching issues.

Do you have any solution to downgrade the character set file(OCR/ .ABC)...otherwise  i need to recreate it again :<

Like labVIEW have save as previous verision ,i searched lot in NI OCR  vision interface application.i didt get it..

I have searched around and finding nothing to help you.  I opened the NI OCR Training Interface and there are no save options.  i think you will need to recreate the OCR file.  Sorry.

Thanks Matthew to clarify me,,finally we can come to this conclusion that NI VISION dont have the downgrade functionaliies  as of now.only solution is recreate the OCR.

Its better if it have the features. 😆
