is it possible to change the color of the windows tool bar on a vi? or is this a property of the windows OS? I'm running XP.

There may be a .NET function that allows you to do it, but I'm not sure. I think the color is tied to the "theme" you have set, so I don't know if there is the ability to have different colored toolbars. Someone may know differently.

YUp, it's an OS property. I looked for an easy way to set it programmatically, but couldn't find much on MSDN. You can do it manually like this.
