car automation system

we did simulations of car operations for left & right conditions, head light etc...

we just want to know whether we able to interact with hardware(small prototype)

You will need to provide more details as to what you're trying to do. When you say you did simulations are you referring to LabVIEW code? As for interacting with hardware, it all depends on the hardware. You can interface to instruments, data acquisition cards, motors, and lots of other things.

Please provide more specifics.

It sure is possible, as mentioned above more information about your specific case is needed to provide more specific help, but here's an example of labview being used to help control a car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQaQFxWG8Ro

Yes, like the others said, it depends on how you need to control everything.  If it is just lights and such you could run relays off some digital lines for a small prototype to prove it would work and build from there.

I am actually just starting to setup a small test bench for an HCU.  I am using some dital lines, analog outputs and CAN messages to simulate other hardware and read various outputs from the HCU.  It is a fun project so far.
