Yesterday I successfully called a subVI by reference by using an "open vi reference.vi". Today, I get an error message saying that "the vi is not in a state compatible with this operation". I did change a few things in my subvi but I do not know what I changed to cause this problem. Does anyone have a suggestion? It seems to work when it is not in a loop, but when put into a while loop, the error occurs. Yesterday it was in the same loop and worked fine. I need to run this subvi without waiting for it to finish. Thanks in advance for any help provided.
