I need to calculate velocity from Visa input from a motion tracker sampling at 100Hz. I could do this from first principles using a loop & shift registers for distance and time but I wonder if I am missing a ready made vi that will do this in one step and keep my block diagram simple? Thanks for any help.

There is no ready-made VI to calculate velocity. Unless you count the Divide function.

Actually, since velocity is simply the derivative of position, you can take the derivative of your data and you should get velocity. You can either use the derivative VI or create Savitzky-Golay coefficients and do the convolution yourself (much more noise immune).
