build waveform - function expandable ?

What happens when I expand the "build waveform" function so it has multiple Y components and then wire 1-D signal arrays to them ? I can only get one signal on the output waveform graph. I want to avoid building waveforms from each signal separately an then building a 1-D waveform array. This works ok, but I thought the function being "expandable" would allow me to do it the way I described first.

The node is very similar to the named bundler. It is growable so that
you can choose to set a subset of the items, but there is only one Y
array, and only one, presumably the bottom-most will be retained.
