No.  The act of simulating something means you do not need hardware.

Nothing better than logging into your work machine on a Monday morning, opening up your email, and seeing a ridiculous amout of emails for a single LabVIEW forum... just to read said thread (on a professional forum mind you) and find that it was it a complete waste of time.
