Yes I think things are clear. It was the terms that were confusing. Effectively, changing the target, changes the development system and different development systems have different capabilities. I don't think it's a matter of a function not generating the correct C code. It's more a matter of some functions not generating any C code because they are not supported on a certain platform. For example, you can use an ActiveX function with a normal windows target but those functions on not supported on a micro target.

 

edit- anyways, yes, if you are going to target a micro, your top level VI should not be under My Computer since that will assume you are developing that VI for windows.
