associate a cursor to scale

Hi,
I'd like to know if there's a way to associate a cursor to an yscale programmatically.
Like what you can do with the property node plot.yscale.idx to associate a plot to a scale.

I believe a cursor can not be associated with a scale, but it can be associated with a plot, which is associated with a scale (property Cursor.Plot). This is in LV 7. LV 8 might have something different.
