Hi muks.

I've scanned through the picture file You've posted.

There seems to be a lot of gaps between the "255" 's that are larger than the 1500 indexes You wanted. (the largest gap being 15281)

How to handle such situation???

Hi Bcl ,

You are right and i am still stuck. For your condition i need to divide the difference if the next 255 is occuring between a period greater than 1500,Then the difference need to be divided by 1500 and get its absolute value and insert 255.Sounds very complicated????Yeah and i am breaking my head.

Hi muks.

I already thought You'd say that.

I've been trying to follow these multiple threads on what seems to be the same subject, but now I'm thoroughly confused as to which one I'm supposed to look at or respond to. Smiley Sad

There should be a way to link the thread...

.... then again, that would be way too confusing..  😉

So where's this picture file that people are referring to that has been supposedly posted?

Hi muks.

Sorry for the long delay. (Iv'e been pretty busy)

I've made this little VI for You. It works the way You described (or at least as i thought You wanted it work).

Still when running the sample image through it, the outcome is pretty "messy".

Give it a try and tell me if it's OK.
