analog input from multiple channels PCI DAS 6014

Hi,

I am trying to read from two different channels using a daq card PCI DAS 6014.

The problem is that i can only read from one channel. How do i read from the two channels simultaneously?

Hey Mutah,

This device is using a multiplexer to switch through the AI Channels, so when trying to acquire from more then one channel in separately but in parallel you will get a resource conflict.

Where are this ULx VIs coming from?

With DAQmx you simply specifiy a channel list like Dev1/ai0:4 at DAQmx Create Channel.vi

I did try to use just one analog input and did specify Dev0/ai0,Dev0:ai1 but it doesn't seem to work.

These Ulx are drivers from the PCI DAS 6014.

could you send me an exemple using the Daq that you have how to acquire simultaneously 2 analog input?

Ah, I was wondering about the "DAS" in PCI DAS 6014 since NI also sells, or once sold, a PCI-6014.

So since the hardware you are using is not from us I have cannot really tell how to read multiple channels there.

But I would guess you only need one create channel and enter a channel list (syntax should be documented in the VIs help) with the channels you want to acquire from.
