Look in the Graphics & Sound->Sound palette.  You will find all kinds of fun VIs.  There is a palette in there just for reading and writing to a sound file.  You want to use the Read to read a wav file.  Then go to the output palette and the Play Waveform should do it all for you.

As Gerd pointer out earlier use the Sound VIs.

On the VI palette  ->  Graphics & Sound > Sound > Output.

Open the wav file and play it.
