adding a element to last node of tree

Hello gak, when I insert the code that is respoonsible to create a parent node inside the event structure, its not even building a tree. The only change I got is iam able to stop the vi when stop button is pressed. Please help me out. This is really something urgent.

I am attaching the vi which will serve your purpose for now. I know I am not suppose to do coding for you as this forum is to suggest solution and not doing it for someone.

But as you said its urgent.This is not perfect solution. You better learn State diagram architecture and fundamentals of labview.

Hello Gak, Sorry to bug you for one more time. The vi with which you helped me in constructing a tree(when ever a new parent is detected, add that to the last node of tree), I am trying to integrate that with my Main vi, adding some more logic to it, like adding a value to the each element, where the child value will be keeps on updating during run time.

I am able to do the part, adding a value to each element and updating it continuosly during run time, but having trouble when inserting that logic with the logic you helped me out i.e,the part where we are trying to add a new node when ever a new parent is detected. I did this logic in the vi Tree_Not_working.vi, can you please take a look at this and help me out.

Iam also attaching the logic with out the event structure which is working if needed.
