added one tag and DSC tagengine crashes

I added one tag to MAX on an unused SCXI channel. When launching the tag engine I get a series of errors saying "Your OPC server is likely non-compliant with the OPC specification with respect to the following function: IOPCGroupStateMgt::SetState()"

When I remove the tag from DSC I still get the error
I created a new tag database with only one tag -same error
When I remove the tag from MAX the error goes away after a reboot

From what you wrote, it sounds like a DAQ-OPC Server issue. You may confirm this by using a 34d-party client (many available for free, online). Or you could try using DataSocket-OPC.

In any case, you will want to report this under DAQ forum if you haven't already done so.
