XNET Auto Response to a specific ID

Hello,

I have read loads of documentation and cannot find what I am looking for. Apologies if it is obvious.

I have a HIL (Hardware in Loop) system which tests an ECU. The ECU sends CAN frames periodically and the sensors are supposed to respond to specific CAN IDs with sensor data as a response.

For example if the ECU sends a Frame (CAN Identifier 1) with signal Temp set to 1, my simulated sensor is supposed to respond with a specific frame with temperature information in the payload. So it needs to be a response to a trigger. I tried many things but not sure how to set XNET driver to do an event response.

Please helps. Thanks in advance.

Hi Peter,

I have found the following link which provides some information on how to trigger an Event Remote Frame.

Handling Remote Frames with NI-XNET in LabVIEW

Please let me know whether this is what you're looking for or if you have any further questions.
