Writing to spreadsheet

When I run it, nothing is on my spreadsheet. I am not sure how to connect my array to the value that is being output

That's because you are not passing any data to it.  You need to pass the data to the Write To Spreadsheet File somehow, and not directly from a control.

Here is a suggestion.  Start a new VI.  Put a Write to Spreadsheet File VI on it.  Right-click this VI, choose Help.  Based on the Help, populate its Inputs and Outputs appropriately.  Run this very simple VI.  Observe the results.  If it doesn't seem to work, read the Help again, and make an educated guess what is wrong, fix it, and try again.  I'm confident you will "get it" in at most three tries.

This simple "experimental" approach to learning LabVIEW is quick (there is only a little to do), instructive, and generate "Aha!" Moments.  Once you see how it works, use what you've learned in your own code.  You will understand (and remember) it much better than if we "do it for you".

Yes Sir, I get that and that is the only way I learn. If I am spoon-fed, I won't retain it. There are times though, that I will honestly not know what my next step should be, that is the point at which I ask. It is nice how LV has the examples, I have been able to figure out some problems on my own. I sincerely appreciate everyone's help here. I am able to go directly to NI for support but it can take days before I hear anything. Thanks again to all.

I am not able to make a connection from the DAQmx to the Write to Spreadsheet (diagram below). I am connecting the "data" on the DAQmx-Read to the 1d and 2d array portion of the write to spreadsheet. Nothing I do works.

You need to attach your latest VI that shows the DAQmx Read and how the wire is not connecting.

Do you get any error messages when you hover over the broken wire?

No error messages, not even after the Vi stops. I am trying to connect From the DAQmx Read to the data on the spreadsheet. After Vi executes and terminates, I go to the spreadsheet and there is no data on it.

You said you are unable to make the connection.  That implies a broken wire.  And when you hover over that wire, it would tell you why you are unable to connect.

But then you say it executes but you get no data.

That is conflicting information.

Attach the VI.

Oh, yes Sir, sorry, I misunderstood. Yes, it shows the broken wire every time I try to connect the DAQmx Read at Data terminal to indicator array.

The only way I was able to get it to work was to create two for loops, nesting one inside the other but that isn't usable for me.

Show us your code.  We cannot help you with your issue until you do.
