I have set up a vi to run for the duration of a factory production shift. Throughout this shift, LabVIEW plots values against time so the viewer can analyse trends throughout the day. I would like a way of easily extending this trending capability (e.g. by clicking a button) to incorporate the last 7-days / last 30-days / last 60-days data.
What is the most user-friendly way to achieve this?
Where can I find information/guidance on what functions to use in my code?
How can I export this data easily (e.g. clicking a button) to an Excel file?
Answers to the above in order to start me on the right track would be great. Also, if someone has or knows of any examples on this then I would be very grateful indeed.
