Thanks for the VI. It seems like it would solve my problems if only I was taking less measurement points. I am taking 800 measurements which means I would need 800 columns in excel to save them in vertical form, as you said, but excel allows a maximum of 256 columns. So unfortunately I cannot use this.

Since you were aware of the limitations of Excel in the first place, why did you ask if you could store the data in columns? It sounds like you can use your original code to save each measurement run in a row.

I was not aware of the limitations of excel until I tried the suggested VI and received errors from it. I will try my original approach again. Thanks for the help.
