With Modbus LabVIEW Library, why do I need the DSC module?

Modbus LabVIEW Library is enough to make a communication between CRio and other device or do I need also the DSC module?

No, you only need the DSC module when you want to use DSC module functions.

None.

You can use the DSC module to interface a modbus OPC server that scans your modbus devices.

Do you know if the Modbus Library works in PDU or ADU?

 I would say ADU, since its incorperating addressing and error checking. PDU seems only usefull with only one connected device.

It somewhat depends on how much data you want to read and how fast it needs to update. Modbus commands are good for reading 100-125 words of data in one command.
