Where is Labview PDA 8.5?

Has anyone seen the download link for LabView PDA 8.5 yet?  I decided to upgrade to LabView 8.5, and figured I might as well upgrade everything at the same time.  There is information up and down and all over on the ni.com web site about PDA 8.5, yet I can't seem to find it anywhere.

it took several days just to get the 8.5 download.  It released Aug 6th.  Usually the RT builds and other modules trail by a few weeks.  But if you want a quick answer, call NI... or ask your DSM. I have mine on speed dial. LOL

Why doesn't NI have a SINGLE evaluation download page for all their products?

if you want the true answer. call the marketing dept.  I am 99% sure that it has to do with them

Hi,

There is no evaluation version available for LabVIEW PDA Module 8.5. Unlike LabVIEW for Windows, the LabVIEW PDA Module installer requires that you enter a valid serial number to complete the installation (instead of giving the option to evaluate as well). I hope to add an evaluation option to the installer in a future version.

You had a eval version for PDA 8.2 with a timeout in the .exe.

Why not use the same method for PDA 8.5?

Hi Robert,

Changes were made during development to how the installer works, and this feature was not migrated (unintentionally). I'll see what I can do about it. I agree that an evaluation of the module is very helpful.

We are getting closer

The single page for evaluation software is located here:

But it does not have PDA 8.5 yet.  I know NI listens.
